TeamViewTM Consult is an intuitive, web-based application that allows multiple users to store, maintain and extract information on their consultation projects. It allows efficient stakeholder management, and provides a wide range of powerful yet simple analytical tools.
 
Your staff don't have to be experts to use TeamView Consult; a simple, user-friendly interface assists to guide them through the consultation process naturally.


 
TeamView Consult helps you to manage the wide-ranging aspects of consultation processes, from informal early discussions with key stakeholder or affected parties, through to formal consultation an statutory submission processes. It also acts as a clearing house for activities associated with consultation, including keeping track of all documents received, all phone calls and meetings, and contact with key stakeholders.

Who should use TeamView Consult?

TeamView Consult has been developed by planners with a great deal of collective experience in managing both small and large consultation projects. TeamView Consult is sufficiently flexible to deal with many consultation processes and would be of benefit to:

  • Planners and project managers of large infrastructure projects involving dialogue with affected communities – from early consultation through statutory phases;
  • Local government officers managing the interface with residents and ratepayers, and other stakeholders in relation to annual plans, policy documents or special projects;
  • Major infrastructure or asset owners, to manage the interface with affected parties making submissions in relation to your assets;
  • Central government agencies, to manage engagement with key stakeholders, and consultation in relation to policy proposals, discussion documents, programme management and project proposals;
  • Legislators in managing public submissions on Bills before Select Committees;
  • Anyone involved in consulting with communities.

Why did we develop TeamView Consult?

TeamView Consult was developed with the extensive experience of Beca Planning. Many of our day to day projects involve consultation, and we found that we were often developing new ‘database products’ for each project. While this was generally efficient, there were many features that such an approach could not provide. For example, historical reporting, analysis of cross submissions, detailed document management and tracking interaction with stakeholders over time. In talking with many of our clients, we found they also developed specific products on a case by case basis that were difficult to use, and expensive to maintain, using off the shelf database software products. TeamView Consult moves from a ‘product’ type approach, to seeing the software solution as a ‘service.’

 

What do you get when you purchase a licence?

There are a number of difference pricing models, and our team can work with you to identify the best approach for your project team or organisation. In simple terms, there are two types of licence arrangement:

  • Project Licence – for the agreed duration of a specific project;
  • Annual Licence – a licence tailored to the ongoing needs of your organisation.

There are various services available for each licence. The full suite of services available includes:

  • User training, including a user manual to get you started and resolve any questions about the operation of the service, and on-site training for your staff;
  • Ability for multiple users to enter and analyse data simultaneously;
  • Document management for all hard copy documents received from external stakeholders;
  • Reporting in a range of pre-designed templates, and ability to develop specific templates to suit your specific needs;
  • Simple hard copy ‘templates’ to assist in smoothly managing consultation;
  • Annual user community workshops to discuss service evolution;
